Price list 2022

The price list effective from 1.1.2022 is published.

Changes in the price list
For the registration of new articles, the prices will be changed due to an annual general index regulation for all article groups.

For the annual license fee, the prices will be changed due to an annual general index regulation for all product groups except commodities. The license fee for commodities will be increased from NOK 125 to NOK 135 excl. VAT per article number.

The reason for this is that a new, common EU regulation on medical devices has been transposed into Norwegian law. The three EU directives on medical devices have been replaced by two regulations. Regulation (EU) 2017/745 on Medical Devices (MDR) applicable from 26.5.2021 and (EU) 2017/746 on In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices (IVDR) applicable from 26.5.2022

Our web portal will this fall be developed with a functionality to indicate whether a commodity is a medical device, with correct classification according to the EU regulations. This functionality is necessary in pharmacy and wholesaler systems to comply with the new regulations. Increased need for user support and maintenance of the system is expected.

The project is carried out in collaboration with the wholesalers and those responsible for the pharmacy system. Classification of medical devices will be made available in the article register delivered to wholesalers and pharmacies. The wholesalers cover the development costs, and wholesalers and pharmacies must also cover shares of the operating costs. The functionality is scheduled to be operational in mid-November 2021.

Classification of medical devices that are already on the market is part of the project, and Farmalogg will contact relevant suppliers regarding this during October. When registering a new product, the supplier must state whether the product is a medical device and choose the correct classification in a new code system that reflects the EU regulations.
