Company and user information

1. How to gain access to farmalogg.no?
    * If the company is not registered at farmalogg.no from earlier, select Register new company.
       The one who register the company will be created as a new user when Farmalogg has approved the company registration and will automatically be set as the main contact.   
    * If the company is registered from earlier, you must be created as a new user with relevant user roles by the company’s main contact.
    * When you are created as a new user, you will receive an email with link to activation. To activate you user and gain access to farmalogg.no, you must click on thislik. At the same time, you will be asked to create a password. 
    * Contact Farmalogg in order to find out if the company is registered form earlier and/or who the main contact is.

2. Why am I not able to log in?
    * Your user is not active, this may be due to:
        - that you have not changed you password in at least one year (see paragraph 4).
        - that the main contact has deactivated your user.
        - that you have not activated your user when it was created (see paragraph 1).
    * Get in touch with the main contact for your company who can activate your user (see paragraph 7d).
    * Contact Farmalogg if you have not been able to activate your user.

3. How to change password?
    * Log in to farmalogg.no.
    * Go to My page – My profile.
    * Select Edit, next Change password.
    * Type new password.
    * Exit with Save.

4. Password change requirement
    * It is required to change your password twice a year, and an email notification is sent when it has been 5 months since you last changed your password.
    * If you don't change your password within the deadline (one month after the notification), your user account will be automatically deactivated and you will not be able to log in to farmalogg.no.
    * If your user is deactivated, please contact the main contact on behalf of your company who can activate your user (see paragraph 7d).

5. How to change contact information?
    * Log in to farmalogg.no.
    * Go to My page – My profile.
    * Select Edit.
    * The following information can be changed:
       - Phone number
       - Password, see paragraph. 2.
    * If changes to your name or email address is needed, send an email with the requested changes to Farmalogg.
    * It is not possible to change username.
    * It is not possible to transfer a user to another person by changing name and email address, in stead a new user must be created by the main contact.

6. How to change company information and/or main contact?
    * Send an email with changes to Farmalogg.

7. Information for the main contact:

    a) How to create a new user?
         * Log in to farmalogg.no.
         * Go to My page – Contact list.
         * Select Create new user below the contact list.
         * Fill in name,email address and alternatively phone number.
         * The user name can be changed if this already is being used (see paragraph b).
         * Appropriate user roles must be assigned (product submitter, batch contact and/or batch submitter).
         * Exit with Save.
         * Once you have crteated a new user, an email with link to activation will be sent to the new user. The new user must click on this link to activate the user and gain access to farmalogg.no. AT the same time, the user is asked to create a passord.

    b) Can one person be a user on behalf of several companies?
         * Yes, but it must be created an own user for each of the companies by the main contacts.
         * Email address and password can be the same, but the user name must differ.

    c) How to change user roles?
         * Log in to farmalogg.no.
         * Go to My page – Contact list.
         * Click on the pencil icon for the user that shall be changed.
         * Tick appropriate user roles (product submitter, batch contact and/or batch submitter).
         * Exit with Save.
         * If you change your own user roles, you have to log in again for the changes to take effect.

    d) How to deactivate/activate a user?
         * Log in to farmalogg.no.
         * Go to My page – Contact list.
         * If the user is deactivated, you need to tick Show all in order for the user to be visible in the contact list.
         * Click on the pencil icon for the user that shall be deactivated/activated.
         * Select Deactivate alternatively Activate.
         * Exit with Save.
